About
Gone Mad Productions is the production arm of LadyMadelyn — same vision, telling stories behind and in front of the lens.
Media and art as medicine, storytelling as therapy. I founded GoneMad Productions out of my own healing journey, and I build mental health awareness into every creative process, across every art form we use. GoneMad is more than a production company. It’s a wellness-centered creative space where authentic voices find expression through art-based healing, and where we bridge the digital divide along the way.
My why rests on three roots:
My changed voice. After my tracheostomy changed my voice, I learned what it feels like to be dismissed because of how I sound. That opened my eyes to how many voices the media overlooks.
I’ve seen it work. In our Summer Intern program with Travis County, a young man with autism thrived once we met him where he was. At the end, his mother told me, “For the first time, my son feels seen.”
The content I couldn’t find. I kept looking for faith-informed, culturally relevant, accessible content for Black families on mainstream platforms, and it wasn’t there. So I built it myself, along with our own way to get it to people.
The name: GoneMad is a play on my name, Madelyn. It also means being bold enough to challenge how things have always been done. In a world that tells marginalized voices to stay quiet, I’ve “gone mad” enough to believe everyone deserves to be heard.
